Scott Stemen was born on Easter Sunday April 22nd 1962
to parents Dean & Joan Stemen in Noblesville Indiana. Scott was also blessed
with two siblings..Tom and Sue. Scott grew up in rural Central Indiana.
He attended college in Arizona, where he followed his love of the west.
Scott was graduated from Arizona Western College in 1985.
After a short residence in Southern California, Scott returned home to Indiana
to be surrounded by family and friends. He entered the automotive
industry and in 1988 Scott and Dean started MUFFLERS & MORE.
This independent repair shop combined Dean's skill as a mechanic
and Scotts love for Hot Rods. This led to a Custom Exhaust Shop.
Scott sold the shop in 1995 to focus his attention on his latest business venture.
Scott started Southwest Style in 1992 as a small gift and furniture store.
As business grew, Scott purchased the J H Hare Building in 1995.
The Hare Building was a 2 story brick Livery built in 1889
on the Historic Courthouse Square in downtown Noblesville Indiana.
Scott restored the building that had sat vacant since 1963 and moved
Southwest Style there. Scott was designing his own line of southwest style
and mission furniture and soon expanded to the world wide web.
Scott and his Dad retired from Southwest Style in 2003.
Scott never got the mechanical side of his brain fulfilled though
and began designing motorcycles as a side hobby.
A natural progression of the motorcycle was apparel
and Scott began branding his own clothing and leather.
This web site is an outlet for Scott's creations.
So.....enjoy and please stop back often to see what is new
